Thank you for your interest in reviewing a Paper Boat Publishing book! If you’re a blogger or other media professional looking to review copies of any of our books, you can send your request using this form. Please note that we’re a small independent publishing company, so our review copies are limited.
At this time, we are only able to give review copies to regular bloggers with an engaged following (blogging for at least 1 year, publishing at least 1x/week) in relevant fields. We would give priority to those whose blogs or publications are related to the book/s being requested.
Some examples:
- People with active blogs, forums, or online communities on colouring books and/or art/colouring therapy would get higher priority for our colouring books/journals.
- Individuals who write or manage communities about journal writing/keeping will get priority for our journaling books.
If your blog or publication isn’t an obvious fit, please let us know why you’d like to review our books and we’d be happy to consider your request.
We don’t expect a ‘positive review guarantee’ when we send review copies. We believe in the integrity of the bloggers and other professionals that we choose to work with. However, we do hope for a courtesy dialogue should the reviewer decide to publish a negative review so that we can fairly address any concerns, especially if the book review request was initiated by said reviewer. Otherwise, if you’ve purchased the book to review, you are welcome to share your thoughts without a dialogue. Although, having said that, we would still appreciate hearing from you, in case we can do something to alleviate your concerns as a paying customer.
